NCI-Roberts is completing three phases of construction for Burke Lutheran Church. Phase one was construction of a 5,830 square foot one-story facility with a floorplan incorporating a vestibule, nursery, warming kitchen with pantry, fellowship space, choir room, fireside room, offices, bathrooms; and rooms for files, mechanicals, and storage.
Phase two was relocating the existing church, built in 1899. A portion of the church containing the gym and kitchen was demolished, a new foundation was poured, and the remaining portion of the structure was relocated to the new foundation.
In phase three, the re-located original church and the phase one facility will be connected, and a 658 square foot addition featuring a sacristy and organ room will be built.
Other project features include new accessible sidewalks, entries and paving.

NCI-Roberts built an efficient, roughly 1,000 square foot entrance addition for Central Lutheran Church in Edgerton, Wisconsin, that provides a covered walkway and an ADA ramp.
Exterior finishes were sourced to blend with the existing structure, particularly its unique historical stone.
The site between two buildings was tight and required footing columns buried ten feet into the ground. Crews took great care to respect the church’s preschool programming and other congregational events.
Despite the various obstacles, the project was completed on time and under budget.

The renovation addressed safety concerns as well as created an inviting space in honor of the church’s 125th anniversary. The church has future plans to replace the windows with stained glass.

An addition constructed between the church and school incorporated fellowship, administration and classroom space. 24 years after its founding, Faith Community Church needed to expand again. First meeting in a motor lodge and other rented facilities, the casual, welcoming congregation’s 1998 building near I-90 had been modified three times and still couldn’t accommodate its growth.
An 8,000 square foot worship space addition was designed with a focus on function and matching existing materials and finishes. The $1.2 million expansion included:

A 6,000 square foot, two-story addition was tied into the existing structure by incorporating similar exterior stucco and masonry accents. The new, functional space accommodates the still-growing congregation by adding:
