St. Joseph Catholic Church is a thriving faith community with roots dating back to 1845. NCI-Roberts was hired to improve accessibility and add restrooms to the church, built in 1890, as well as address infrastructure items such as the septic system. These improvements and updates had to anticipate future master plan concepts that envision a more fully utilized campus. Working with Plunkett Raysich Architects, NCI-Roberts developed a solution — an addition to the church featuring an elevator, restrooms on two levels and a new entry. The design solves current issues while reflecting the permanency and beauty of the historic church.
